Our pool temperatures are monitored daily, however may fluctuate slightly due to weather.
50m Lap Pool – 27°C
25m Lap Pool – 28°C
25m Program Pool – 32°C
Our 50m pool maintains the same depth while the depths of our 25m pools show a gradual decline.
50m Lap Pool – 2m deep
25m Lap Pool – 1.2m to 1.8m deep
25m Program Pool – .9m to 1.4m deep
Yes, the 50m lap pool has been surveyed and is confirmed to meet World Aquatics (previously FINA) regulations to be an Olympic-size swimming pool.
Competitions in this pool will also be supported by touch pads, timing systems and a scoreboard as well as judging and marshalling space.
When construction of Bundaberg Aquatic Centre commenced, FINA (Fédération internationale de natation) was the name of the organisation that recognised 50m Olympic pools. This organisation was officially renamed to World Aquatics in January 2023. The pool is therefore a recognised 50m Olympic pool by FINA/World Aquatics standards.
Yes, the 50m pool is 2 metres deep across the entire length of the pool making it an adequate pool for underwater hockey and water polo games.
In addition, this pool has been marked with underwater hockey lines and Bundaberg Aquatic Centre will have nets that can be used for water polo games.
Bundaberg Aquatic Centre will not have a spa, sauna or waterslide, rather the centre will bring a 10-lane 50m pool, 8-lane 25m pool and 25m warm-water program pool to the Bundaberg community.
We are still in the process of determining what classes and instructor availabilities we will have at Bundaberg Aquatic Centre.

We’re currently exploring the possibility of joining the Fitness Passport network. While we don’t have a confirmed answer just yet, we’ll update this page as soon as more information becomes available.
We accept the following concession cards on the criteria that they have a valid expiry date and that the card is shown upon your first visit for new concession memberships or each casual visit to the centre:
